Designate Emulation
Granting an support staff emulation rights allows that individual to update and add records in Faculty180 Activity Reporting on behalf of a faculty member. The faculty member granting emulation rights to a staff member must have good faith that the staff member will appropriately update and add records on their behalf. Faculty180 does not track changes made by support staff emulating a faculty member and records can never be reverted to a previous version.
How to Designate Emulation Access to a Faculty Member’s Account in Faculty180:
1. The faculty member must log in and grant access. This can not be done by another user or by the system administrator. Using the left-hand menu in Faculty180, look for the “Account Access” option.
2. Under Users Granted Access to My Account, click the blue Add button.

3. When the Add Access dialog box pops up, click Select Faculty.

4. A new window will open. Check the box that says Show Support Accounts and then type the staff member’s name in the search box.

5. From the list of Available people, use the right arrow to move the person to the Selected list on the right. At the bottom of the dialog box, click the blue Select Faculty button.

6. Now that you have returned to the Add Access dialog box, click the box by Emulate (DO NOT CLICK THE OPTION TO GIVE ANYONE EVALUATIONS RIGHTS).
7. Select the expiration date. Finally, click the blue Save button at the bottom of the dialog box.
