Scholars@ECU Faculty Profiles
Scholars@ECU provides information on the research interests, publications, and grant activity of East Carolina University faculty members. Designed to highlight our achievements and facilitate collaboration, Scholars@ECU profiles draw their information from Faculty180, ECU’s faculty activity report system. Faculty members must opt in to have an enhanced profile, and select the entries that get pushed to their Scholars profile.
Faculty members may change their answers to the Public Display Master Agreement at any time, and their changes will be reflected after the next data refresh.
Scholars@ECU is an implementation of VIVO, an open source research networking platform.
Manage your Profile
All faculty members who are users of Faculty180 have basic profiles with directory information. In order to activate an enhanced profile, faculty members must log in to Faculty180 and agree to the Public Display Master Agreement. The Master Agreement is the last section in Faculty180’s Profile area.
Read the text of the Public Display Master Agreement.
For each publication, award, or other Faculty180 entry that you want to include, you must select Yes for the Publicly Displayed Activity Classification on that entry.
All entries must be created or edited in Faculty180 in order to exist in Scholars@ECU. No editing is done in Scholars@ECU. The entries are imported to Scholars@ECU nightly.
